16" Tenon Saw

For precise cuts with the grain, this is the perfect saw for cutting tenons.  With a thin .025" plate for a thin kerf and a 1/4" x 3/4" back to keep everything in line. All measurements are +/- 1/8". Backs are precisely slotted to a tight fit with the saw back. 

Our saw plates are made from 1095 spring steel, hardened and tempered to Rc 48-51. Plates are deblued, but not sanded or polished, expect minor scratches from material handling. Wet/dry sandpaper can be used to remove these and take it to the level of finish you like. Our Tenon kit has the teeth punched at five degrees for rip cuts but can easily be filled to a different angle if cross cut is needed.  

This Kit will allow you to quickly build a good daily user or with some more time you can make an heirloom quality saw.

Saw Bolts - ( one .75' medallion and two .50" saw bolts )

Handle plans including one Medium and one Large drawing.
