This Kit is designed to fit our hand saw split nuts and can be reversed to fit most standard saw bolts or Chip Breaker caps. The bit is made from 1095 spring steel, hardened and tempered to Rc 48-51 and is .050" wide, but can be filled down to fit smaller slots. The kit can be used as is but is designed for you to make a custom handle to fit your hand and style.
